Wraparound and In-Work Support
Wraparound support is universal and continues throughout funded employment.
Weekly Coaching

Employer In-Work Engagement
The Employer Engagement Team conducts structured weekly employer check-ins covering:
From month four onwards, progression planning begins. Following completion of the funded period, participants may access light-touch follow-up support to sustain employment or progress further.
Employer guest talks, “Day in the Life” sector insight sessions and alumni panels further enhance motivation and career insight.
Monitoring, Evaluation and Continuous Improvement
Pre-placement, midpoint and end-of-placement reviews are conducted with both participants and employers to assess progress, workplace integration and emerging risks. Performance data is analysed through live dashboards, enabling responsive management action and continuous improvement. Insight and performance updates will be shared with DWP in line with contractual requirements.
Safeguarding and Wellbeing
Altamira Training Academy operates a robust safeguarding framework that includes designated Safeguarding Leads, clear escalation procedures and confidential reporting mechanisms. Employer suitability checks and workplace risk assessments are undertaken prior to placement approval. Safe recruitment processes are embedded, supported by comprehensive and ongoing staff safeguarding training.
Altamira’s embedded, employer-led Jobs Guarantee programme combines secured regional vacancies, structured preparation and sustained wraparound support to ensure young people in Hertfordshire and Essex progress into meaningful, paid employment.
The model aligns public investment with confirmed labour market demand, delivers measurable outcomes for DWP and creates long-term economic benefit for the region.
Job Matching and Retention
Matching is evidence-based and retention-focused. Suitability checks are conducted before employment commences, and supported introductions are facilitated where appropriate. If a placement ends prematurely, rapid re-engagement and rematching procedures are activated to protect outcomes.
